Hayley Orantia is American actor, musician and acrobat. Many people recognize the name as Erica Goldberg, from the television comedy 'The Goldbergs. She is primarily an actor. Music has always been her first passion. By the time she turned 12 years old, music was important enough to begin professional training. As a teenager She began to write her own songs. The album that she first released didn't come out until fourteen years later. The rest is history. Orrantia was born in America but with Hispanic roots. While she grew up with only English and has never lived in Mexico she is very proud of her Hispanic heritage. In order to maintain her heritage, she's learned Spanish and has written songs that are in Spanish. "Hasta Verte" is a song in Spanish that she's recorded is a good illustration. Orrantia was selected to audition for The X Factor's first season in the summer of 2011. Orrantia got selected as a result of a YouTube video that she submitted and got 4 "yes" votes from the judge in the live audition stage held in Seattle, Washington. The first time she auditioned, she was an individual performer. However, following "Hollywood Week" the three female performers were placed in an ensemble to go through the auditions. The live performances were held during the week of 5th.
