Annie Mist Thorisdottir, a CrossFit professional athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She is also a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is also co-owner. Annie is the only female ever to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games on two occasions. She won the CrossFit Games in 2010 and finished in second place. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion and media celebrity. She won CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 two times as the first woman to win. She is also known for having won Dubai Fitness Competition in both the year 2013 as well as 2017. Annie was born and brought up in Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and siblings. When she was a kid she was an avid fan of sports and exercise. She was a participant in numerous school competitions and was awarded a variety of medals. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. She placed 2nd in CrossFit Games in 2010 under Jami's supervision. After a year of CrossFit Games, Annie won her first CrossFit Games. Her dominant accomplishment was enough to earn her the title. Annie has an outstanding performance in 2012 CrossFit Games performance, became the first woman in history to be crowned the winner of each of the CrossFit Games. In 2014, she took home a gold. And in 2021, she took home a bronze. Annie has been coaching and training at Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was founded by Annie. Annie became a celebrity athlete following her fame. She's worked with a number of brands in sports like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Revolution Periodization Nuun Hydroxylysis Sidekick Yerbae among others. Additionally, she owns a self-titled Youtube channel with a few thousand viewers where her diet family videos and travel vlogs are shared.
